Seyyed Javad Hosseini, Deputy to the Education Minister and Head of the Special Education Organization, in a video conference with the heads of the special education departments in provinces, deaf colleagues and representatives of non-governmental organizations active in the field of the deaf, which was held in the conference hall of the Special Education Organization; while commemorating the memory of the Late Mr Jabbar Baghchehban, the founder of the first kindergarten and the first school for the deaf in Iran in Tabriz, noted: The deaf live in a world of silence but full of commotion, and every year from the 2nd to the 9th of October, the world commemorates the International Deaf Week and as the 9th of October has been named the International Day of the Sign Languages.
